How To Use eBay Pro Stores To Explode Your Business (In A Good Way)
So I was doing some research earlier today to find out how I can get more eyes on my eBay business offers, and guess what I found..?
There’s a website that allows for small and medium sized businesses to sell products and services through a fully customized Web Store. The online “stores” are fully customizable and easy for your potential subscribers to subscribe to and use.
And if you’re not all that “technically savvy”, don’t worry. They have set up wizards that walk you through the whole site creation process, telling you where you need to upload photos, videos, etc.
Before I get into all the cool details of this site, let me first tell you what it is…
Proudly introducing… eBay Pro Stores
… and here are some of the cool features that come along with their free trial membership… that’s right… use their softwares & programs free for an entire month… and if you aren’t satisfied with ANYTHING, you don’t pay a dime. Good deal, no?
Here are some of the things you’ll have access to…
- Domain Registration & Hosting (If you don’t have a website name yet and you want to set one up)
- Shopping Cart (To collect payments on your website)
- Secure, SSL-encrypted Credit Card Processing (To be able to take credit card payments)
- Integration With eBay & Paypal (Mix with your eBay or Paypal profiles)
- Marketing & Merchandising Tools (Get exposure to your website & bring in the bacon)
- Product Catalog (A list of products that are proven “best sellers”)
- And much, much more..
Honestly, what I like about these guys is the simple fact that they have a lot of support for the newbie business owner/ web developer.
You don’t have to be a website design genius to be able to create a really good looking site with these guys and get it to make money for you. All you have to be able to do is point your mouse, and click.
That’s it.
When I think about how far the internet has come from the “old days”, it drives me nuts. Everything is so streamlined and easy to do now, that it almost makes me wish I had waited.
Anyways… check those guys out. You’ll definitely find something that you can use for your business.
And if you know anyone that really doesn’t feel like going through all the technical BS that comes along with putting a site together, tell them to come check this out… they’ll thank you for it, I promise.
Have a good one… I’ll talk to you soon,

Need Free Traffic For Your Business? These Guys Got It Covered.
It really shouldn’t be a secret by now that if you want your business to succeed, you need a consistent flow of traffic.
Whether you own a retail store or a website, traffic is king. But it can’t be just any kind of traffic.
For example, if you have a website that’s selling “sporting equipment” it would be pretty pointless to have someone that’s looking for “music equipment” coming to your site. That traffic wouldn’t convert… not very likely anyway.
Your traffic needs to be targeted to your specific niche and your specific keywords. This means that you need to do proper research… and proper research requires the proper tools. More on that later.
Once you have figured out which keywords you want to target, it’s all about doing the “right” set of activities that will guarantee your website gets consistent traffic, long term, and if possible for free.
The same principles apply to doing keyword research for paid traffic as they do for getting free traffic… but I’m a pretty big fan of getting free traffic so let’s focus on that.
The key to doing proper optimization on your website so that it stays in favor of the search engines long term has three parts:
- Quality Content. This really isn’t that difficult as long as you stay focused on delivering value to your market. Make sure that each of your posts and pages delivers some kind of value… and after that all you need to do is sprinkle your keywords through out the page and in the meta tags.
- Quality Backlinks. We’ve reached a point where the search engines are really paying attention to what kind of backlinks you are getting to your site. What this really means is that they are paying attention to the page rank of the website that you’re getting your link from. The higher the page rank of the site, the more weight that link holds. So in some cases, the same value that comes from 200 backlinks could come from 20 of them… IF they are quality sites that have decent page rank. My bare minimum for getting a link from a site is that its page rank has to be at least 3.
- Consistent Activity. The days are over where you could put up 12 articles on your blog, getting a bunch of backlinks and assume that your site is going to stay at number one forever.Your site now needs to have a consistent level of activity happening… and what is considered activity? Well… the best and easiest way for you to get consistent activity on your site is to encourage user feedback from your visitors. Ask them to leave comments, join your mailing list, Facebook “like” your posts, etc.
If the user activity is low, make sure to post an article every few days so that the search engines know you’re still updating the site… and you can even send people from your mailing lists to your blog when you make posts. Instead of writing a long email to your list with all the content, post the content on your site and tell them to go read it there and leave a comment, etc.
The really cool thing is, we have gotten to a point in the development of the internet where all these three steps can be virtually automated.
For your content, you can hire writers for your blog or even go to your local college and get the journalism students to write your articles as an “internship” thing. It looks great for their resume.
For the backlinks, I highly recommend you visit these guys’ site, Blueprint Black Edition. There have some great free tools that they are giving away for a limited time only that allow for your link building to be automated… and you can even choose the page rank of the site you want your link from. Highly recommended.
And we already covered several ideas for getting the activity levels of your site to be up all the time.
Apply these concepts, go visit that site that I just gave you. I have used those tools and they truly do work. And make sure that you design the strategy of your site to always encourage user feedback and activity. As long as you do that, and stay focused on it… you can get ANY site to the front page of the search engines and get that traffic to stick long term.
I hope you enjoyed the post… and as ALWAYS… show us some link love by either sharing with your Twitter & Facebook friends or “liking” us by clicking the button at the top of this post.
Much appreciated… talk to you soon.
